It's ridiculous. And they've learned to follow fisherman along the shoreline for an easy meal.

They are along the beaches here. I went fishing for 1 hour and lost count over 20+ It worse each year. One came up on the beach tangled in a fishing net...the next day a rescue SWAT team was flown in to untangle and deal with him. I thought given the budget crisis and the freedom of choice crowd in office they would have just shot the thing in the head but I am sure we spent several thousand dollars of taxpayers money saving the seal.

the seal situation is dire to say the least. With only large sharks as their population check, we're going to be with them for awhile. On the back beaches it is a rare night when you dont see at least 4 or 5.

Funny thing is that the freedom of choice crowd are the ones that want to save the animals. The pro-lifers are the ones that would have just shot it in the head.

They need to open the seal hunting season again. Or let's get some of the local indian tribes to sue for the rights to hunt the seals. We'll have to provide some demand in their products though. I sure could use some seal skin slippers.

I can't take it anymore, I didn't go last night because I didn't want to deal with the f'in seals...even though there are plenty of fish around. Just when I walk a good distance to my little nitch where I know I can pull a few...a huge head pops up 12' in front of me. I move down the beach further....and he follows me.

What is the best way to cook these sombitches? I think I can sang one easy. Have you every landed one?

Cheer up Dude. The nice guys around Chatham are sending them over to Martha's Vineyard just to get rid of them. Should be a lot better shortly

Rumor has it a six ounce bank sinker bounced off their forehead sends them swimming away.
