Some stuff I finished up for my trip north. These gliders are an easy build and fun to fish. These sit almost level with just the nose sticking out of the water. They swim on a straight retrieve and can be jerked or twitched.

Finally made it out of Darter Hell. This is the first traditional face darter I have been able to get to swim. I have done others but had to compromise something shape wise somewhere. I was overthinking this one way to much it seems. This one is unweighted maple.

Very nice Ted, I'm thinking I'm going to catch a fish on the slider I got from you at Plugfest tomorrow.

Short darters are tough. Adding length helps with stability, particularly as the plug gets wider.
Liking those sliders. They're definitely on the "to do list" for next winter.

Hi The Greek-
What is the angle of the blade on you larger handcarve. That looks like a very interesting design. How does it swim?
thanks- Chris
