I have been on a bunch of highways over the past few days
and after the road crews have just finished the first mowing
i can't believe seeing all the papers, bottles, cans and plastiic laying
there.
What is the matter with people using our country side as a trash basket.

It seems to get worse every year.

What your seeing is basically the stuff the pigs throw out of thier cars over the winter. Snow melts, grass grows then gets cut, and there it is in all its glory.

I live just off on a cut-threw street in East Bridgewater and can't believe the amount of trash thats thrown onto the street and shoulders on the street. I'd be out there watching for them if it was in front of my house on my street.

Ever since that incinerator open up in Rochester Ma. 495 south has become a %$%$%$%$hole. I would watch the crap flying out of those trucks as I drove down the highway. They are even worse after they have dumped their crap as they never get it all out and it just blows out of the so called empty trucks on their way home. Really pisses me off I tell you. Has made mess of the whole stretch of highway.

I take the back way to most places I go and I am always seeing a couch here and a bunch of tires there. What the hell is wrong with people that they would go out onto a back road and throw a whole divan, as my grandmother would call it, out on the side of the road. Friggin pigs.

coming from rhode island heading north one night
and we watched these pigs just throwing every bit of their
fast food trash out of the window of their pickup as if there was a
huge sign that said: DUMP TRASH HERE.... it was unbelievable
just how much "they just didn't give a damn".

Back in the 50's they had a national litter bug campaign that
people took very seriously and so did the police.
I know law enforcement is busy now a days with a lot more serious issues.

When i was a kid there was a guy, Otto, around 30 that took my friend and i trout fishing every Saturday.
One day Otto throws a banana peel out the window on a back country road.
An officer saw it, stopped him and wrote him a ticket,:rtfm:, all the time Otto's pleading with him," but it's biodegradable, biodegradable." :rotflmao:
Expensive day of trout fishing. :D

Only thing that goes out the window is organic matter. Apple cores, banana peels - things that will be eaten by the ants and disappear within a couple days.

I've seen people throw a full McDonald's bag worth of trash out the window. I can't begin to understand where people get off doing things like that.
