Great start to the season guys! Fishing the "Big River" with Swimmer and Slingah and Swimmer took a 32 pounder on a Herring Guppy Canal Pencil and Slingah took a 30 pounder on his favorite Yellow/White BigFish Canal Pencil! Fun watching you guys catch them fish!:btu:

First pics are of Swimmer at work!

Yup squat as I was across from you too between the 2 doctors. Did see a beautiful 40 lber caught at about 9 , 9:30 am though. It made my uneventful morning. I also ran into Pete Townsend, Pt Jude, behind Gallos on my way home too. Back at it tomorrow. Nice fish guys.

oh.. great fish Gents!

Better get there early

I was east of there, and had one rat and a parking ticket to show for it. The fish were there, the bait was there, but for some reason they were picky.

But the Town of Bourne was feeding for sure

Nice Job! I've had to drive by twice this week and see all the trucks parked on my way to jobs. Tomorrow the stick is going on my roof rack and I will make a few casts somewhere.

Good going guys!!

I was east of youz guys too, ... and I have no complaints ;) (no pun intended M.P.)...got to meet another S-B'er too.....

I've always thought about how much heavier a fish feels when fighting it in the "Big River" when the waters' ripping? You know, does a 20 feel like a 28....does a 30 feel like a 41?....this is hypothetical of course, every fish can fight differently...some times small fish fight more...but with a bigger fish having more mass etc/etc/...lotta variables to consider...

What do you think?...........

...sorry ..:topic:

Congrats guys!!

I think that the fish I caught felt like a 55 gallon drum of crap. I never expected to land it, but was finally able to get her to budge off of the bottom.

Nice! I have been across they way. The hardest part is trying to figure where to fish without a crowd and be into the fish. I'll be makeing a guess tomorrow morning along with a few thousand of my closest friends.
