WTB a conventional 10' or 11' canal stick for jigging and throwing 9'' shads. Would like to keep it as cheap as possible.

Standard Fuji conventional guides with a Fuji plate seat that I've wrapped on but can be moved if you so desire. Rod is in excellent condition and hasn't been fished much at all relatively speaking. It's glass so it's a bit heavier but can toss up to 5 ounces pretty well. Also better in lightening storms :hee: -spence JohnnyD 06-15-2009, 07:25 PM Look at the 1209 being sold in this forum. Bronko 06-15-2009, 07:33 PM Buck Jr. buy Seadangles 1209 if you are just looking for a straight canal jigging stick. CMS wrapped 1209 for $150 is a great deal. JamesJet 06-15-2009, 09:26 PM FWIW I have the same 1209 wrapped by CMS and I love it. If you are only looking to jig, go for it... Before I buy a backup! It is fine with the shads and I have thrown 5+rubber and it loves it. As far as strength, I think I could bring in a lobster trap with the thing. keeperreaper 06-16-2009, 06:28 AM Jeff get the 1209. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
