These are the other design I'm playing with now. They're also 10" long, 5 ounces and made of solid pvc. These get a much more erractic action when fished quick, like a very frigthened fish on the surface trying to get away. They also have a nice pop splash when worked slower. The black one has a green clear coat with glow in the dark eyes.

Good stuff. I made some Polaris's at work out of solid PVC about 10 years ago but they are so heavy I'd get a hernia throwing them so I gave up the idea. Are they solid PVC or that lighter type stuff they sell at home stores for trim work and such? Also curious of keeping paint on them as it is pretty slippery stuff. Good job.

Thanks, they are solid pvc sheets then laminated with epoxy. Ive had one sitting submerged in a bucket of saltwater for over a year and a half. still completey intacted.
I havent had any problems with paint. I use spray can paint with just some clear afterwards. It seems to stick fine.
