Where's your secret spot that almost always delivers? Specifically where do you park, what do you use for gear, what tides are best? If you could attach a google map that would be great.

You forgot to ask which wind or moon produces best.http://bestsmileys.com/lol/1.gif

Maddmatt...while I appreciate your response, I'm not into your kind of fishing. Not that there's anything wrong with you doing your thing.

Did you really expect someone to respond to a question like that on the internet for everyone to see? Fisherman will talk in person (sometimes) but never on the internet.

What goods a secret if you can't tell everyone?

Here's a good spot to try:

GPS: 3708.817 7601.066
Try a 7' medium rod with 40lb braid and a sea worm or a small bucktail on an east wind. Late March is a good bet.

You wanted a solid Cobia spot right?

The third rock to the right of old man Larry's house with the monk hair cut. Two hours before high tide. Bring your korkers and hold on tight to that rod!

Have you been an active member of this forum since: Apr 2007?

Sometimes I like to fill up the bathtub and throw in a line. I can't guarantee a great catch, but I get something every time! Last week I caught a bar of Caress soap!!!:fishin:

June-Sept on the outgoing tide. Use squid trailed behind a flasher. Caught large there many times. Make sure you check "birds eye view" to get best view.

My back up spot is located here.

Right there...:fishin: My old favorite rock.

Worked it hard this year. No where near as good as the last 2 years although I did get a number of mid-20#ers. Died real early.

For the record...I did post this purely as a joke. "where should I park?" and "If you could include GPS coordinates that would be super" should have been the tip off. I've been on here a few years and know what a touchy subject this is and thought is was time to have some laughs with it. I did and hope you did.
By the way, my favorite secret spot...you park right behind that touristy seafood place, you know the one, head down the path and make a right at that shack that burned down about 10 years ago. It's about a mile farther . Great place.

One time I posted a pic of a tasty looking piece of water here and asked everyone how to fish it. Needless to say the spot police went absolutely ballistic. I got hate Pm's and everything. Little did anyone know the pic was the southern tip of Africa....:laugha: Looked alot like a place in RI...:laugha: sometimes you can win, my friend.
