did you see the vampire fish episode... terrible editing! he was fighting one fish on two rods, one spinning, one convench (that he flipped upside down and reel backwards  ) but the made it look like it was one fish.. bugged me the entire fight.

ugly looking thing though. watch your toes!!

Just saw it online at http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/series/hooked/4255/Overview#tab-Videos/06848_00

55 lb goliath tiger fish on a Penn spinning reel.

I hope he counted his fingers after releasing that fish back into the Congo.

Impressive predator!

Backwinding on National TV , switching from the sinner to the conventional and back, well, the producer ain't no angler....

Haven't seen the stingray episode yet but I did watch last week's. IMHO the editor who put those shots of two different rod & reels should be fired.

I saw that, and ya that was pretty hideous, I guess they think fishermen are morons and wouldn't notice something that obvious or the editor is a moron and hasn't a clue about fishing.

that stingray was huge

is the backward reeling legit in some areas? it almost looked like it was on a spinning rod with the first guide oversized a bit
