Question is 90 degree elbow at the bottom in the water or 45 ? Also do I need a screen on the end of it? stripadan 07-11-2009, 03:24 PM I used a 90 for my pickup. I don't use a screen. Without a screen it feeds my livewell fine with about a 30 gallon level. My pickup feeds thru my pump. My pump is on a bracket on exterior of transom and can be disconnected from base for cleaning easily enough. I'm in a 16 footer so rough water isn't an issue for me. TheSpecialist 07-12-2009, 06:38 AM Thanks a 90 it is. likwid 07-12-2009, 07:54 AM pickup on the stern or bottom? We needed two 2" drain hoses to keep up and ot spill over a 30 gallon livewell at speed. Don;t forget the ball valve above the elbow somewhere!!!!!! TheSpecialist 07-14-2009, 05:50 PM Thanks Patrick, ran all 3/4" in, with a 1" drain, and ball valves on the pump, and the pickup to control flow. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
