That really is a Hallmark Moment...:kewl:

Congrats to your daughter on the lunker!

And congrats to you for raising a good kid who likes to spend time with her old Dad - the world could use a lot more of that, I think

Of course...if we got to see the catch, then I think we oughta see a little of the footage of Dad cutting a rug, too...

Hey, it's only fair...:hihi:

Great fish and awesome pic! The smile on yor daughter's face says it all. You're lucky to have a daughter who likes to fish and she's just as lucky to have a dad who takes her fishing!

I the hustle and bustle of our everyday world, it is refreshing to see a youngster with the patience for fishing (and her ol' man):biglaugh:

I have a handful of neices and nephews that will fish, but only a couple have displayed the patience that true fishing requires.

One neice spent over an hour with me this past winter jigging perch and sunnies up in Winnipesaukee. It even impressed me more that she was able to catch fish without me having to do all the work.

I can't see far enough into the future to tell if they will continue to enjoy fishing as much as I do, but they do enjoy hanging out with "crazy uncle Tim", so I can live with that.

As a Follow up, I walk in the door from work and the 1st words out of her mouth are "Can we go fishing?" Who am I to say no....

She got a couple and almost had one as big as the one yesterday....unfortunately the line broke just as we reached down to grab it.......would have been a nice

That is awesome. These are the days to cherish. My daughters have not fished with me in years and are some of my best memories. My youngest is off to college in three weeks! I wonder where the time has gone, it seems like only yesterday! Congrats to your daughter and take her again soon!

Nice K. Nothing better than one on one time. I am trying my hardest to get my daughter into it a little more each year. She seems like she has more patience this year, she's 8, and hopefully will soon realize the enjoyment of fishing, which to me has nothing to do with catching fish, that is just the added benefit.
