I have trouble getting out much later than that with the gf, but would still like to shoot out for an hour or two tonight (or tomorrow) and wanted to know if there is much reason to.

Previous post had mentioned I was new to night fishing, and curious if that is late enough for decent chances on hot days like today.

It's been a few years, but I used to go out all the time after work and fish the triangle outside of Boston Harbor with really good results. Always had the best luck right at dusk...regardless of the tide, it seemed the bite would turn on 30 minutes prior to sunset and turn off 30 minutes after.

Try drifting Hull Gut. I've seen fish being taken live lining pogies over the past week or so. Chunks might work if you can't find live. Fish deep.
