Hi everyone, we had another successful day on the cape, I got 85 more fish, Mark got 40 and roland and sherry got about 50 between them. No major size to them today, all averaging 5 - 24 inches. But alot of fun, am taking a break tomorrow, My thumbs are sore, tehe. Marty were are you from in Maine. We fish a tornament up there at Old Orchard Beach in September, the weekend after labor day and usually do very well. Are you fishing artificial lures or bait? Hope if anyone got out there today they did well.John were are you going to fish this weekend?

Fishywoman <img src="/Images/Tounge_Wink_Face.gif"><!--e5--> , got out too late to do anything tonight but I think I am heading tomorrow to where you had the poor bluefish last spring. You know, the one that answers to the name of lucky? If I remember correctly, it was hooked through one eye but you still wanted to release it. And just after you released "Lucky", a seagull pecked out the other eye... Do I remember that one correctly??? Anywho, that's where I'm heading, or over to Sunocco Point or maybe one of those other places named after the true original Americans...

BTW - the wife and I just put in an offer on a house that was accepted. It's still under construction so we need to go down tomorrow afternoon to pick out colors...between that and working Sunday, tomorrow morning may be about it. Guess I'll miss the Mystery Trip. I'll just scout anonymously... See ya

Marty, you need to think bucktails jigs and teasers in the river mouths for early Maine fishing...Very few people use the small bucktail teaser up there and they don't know what they are missing...Had many 50+ fish days (3-4 hours actually) on the Saco in late May, early June. Get some of those small fish big number days before give them the mackeral attacks for the two handed bass....

Fisherwoman, next time you run into Roland and Sheree (aka "squidmama") give them a big hello from "Mike the Lawyer" from NY. We've had some real good times over the years at the Vineyard, and I don't see as much of them anymore as I would like.

Hello everyone, as for were the fish are, they are in alot of places down on the cape. South side, Cotuit, pomponesset, bass river, shell piont. Can't give exact locations at this time, call me selfish, but i only have another week to fish before shoulder surgery. So please understand!!! So after that we will reveal these hot locations which hold fish for quite some time thru the early months, I promise. John let me know how you do at that spot haven't been there yet this year but the blue fish are going to happen by next week I think. there is alot of squid around Bigtime. Could use a good early spring blitz before the big day next week. Mike P, I will tell sherry and roland you ask about them for sure. As for today, I had to take the day off of the slaming seen as my thumbs are pretty beat up today, tehe!!!! We will be at it again tomorrow. John we won't be doing the mystery trip either, if we get the good weather and less wind we will be getting the boat out for the 1st time, if not we will be scouting the cape. Either way we will let everyone know whats going on.
Tight Lines Everyone,

Depending on whether the phone company, including Da Bride, goes on strike, I should be there. I usually go the last week of the Derby.

Hi fisherwoman and Baitcaster! The fishing sounds great! I fished with you guys last year on a mystery trip to the cape. I caught some nice Bass on the flats, and river, before my reel broke down. Wished I could have stayed longer to catch some of those Blues you got into Later on! I've got into some nice size bass livelining Herring in the Rivers, largest so far was a 28" incher, And one fish that broke of 40lb. test! The canal should bust open by the second week in May and I'll be there as time is available.

Hi Vision, glad you had a great trip with us last year. The fishing is very hot down there right now, we are no longer doing the mystery trips this year as time is short and we have started our own guide service. But we ran into the mystery trip guys today, they got about 50 fish today. Tough tides!!!!!!

Actually I live in Stoughton MA, Fisherwoman, but have a summer house in Ogunquit Maine. I'm there every weekend, so that's where I do all my fishing. I'm a bait slinger, mainly because I have a bad back and this lets me sit when it's slow and put my rig in a spike. It also let's me wife sit on the beach with me. I'll definitely be in Maine during that tournament on OOB. Keep me posted. Once again, good luck with the shoulder.
