He is on now in the booth, just making an appearance, said he hopes to be back soon.

We are lucky to have a number of past players that are able to make the move from sports figure to reporter/analyst. When Remy had to take his medical leave, we had 2 others that had the savvy and intelligence to fill in for him. I've always like Remy's commentary, because even though he is a "Boston" boy, he is fair in his play-by-play coverage. (When you listen to ESPN or FOX25 broadcast, their commentators have a jaded view of the teams, particularly if one of the teams is the Yankees.)

I hope that NESN keep Dennis Eckersly and Jim Rice, because they both have their own experience and input on the game, and they are worth watching because of their knowledge of the game.
