That is a bluefin in a tidal pool???????

Is the meat o.k. to cut and eat?

Does this happen often?

Maybe you should blur his face, since he's breaking the law by taking that tuna. ;)

its my face. tuna was dead. i just picked it up for a picture.

it was in good shape - eyes and gills still pretty bright. if i had a knife i might have taken a look at the meat just out of curiosity but i couldn't see eating something that i found dead on the shore. maybe i'm too domesticated :hihi: besides, we found it just before dawn, a mile or so hike from the car and on private property. just thought it was a cool find.

i dragged it out to the edge of a rocky reef and pushed her out to sea (it sank) so it wouldn't bake in the sun until the tide came in.
