Not that it went out to sea
but that it lost it's power
and down graded to a category 1
especially with those 3 hot days in a row
because if Global warming is a reality
and it appears that it is....
any storm that heads towards New England
is going to pick up power from warm water in
the Ocean....that's just how it works

I don't recall why Bill degraded, it may have been on the other side of the gulf stream.
This next one will primarily be a rainy event, unless it kicks up in the next 24 hrs we will only have gale force winds max

The high degraded like they predicted.
This one most likely will only be a gale.
Atleast LI will see some decent storm swell.
