Man,
Finally got this off of my kids machine. Somebody should be flogged.

Spybot didn't see this one. What else do people use for Malware?

If time is not an issues, Malware Antibytes like mentioned, Dr Web Cure-it (will scan in safe mode - slowly).

The best single app I've seen for removing spyware is called Prevx CSI. Scanner is free, Cleaner - once something is found - $30 to remove (year license)

I'll check it out John. He doesn't go too many none kid places, but this was a really frustrating thing to go through. I gotta get better protected from this stuff.

Fully patched software is the best prevention.

My girlfriend's daughter has the same exact thing on her laptop.

Does the free version of Malwarebyte's program get rid of this or does it just find it?

Spybot,Ad-Aware and SpywareBlaster let this one through.
