Lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. 57 years old. Very sad. Not one of the greatest actors in history but he certainly was one of the most memorable and enduring figures in acting in the last 25 years. Great movies like "The Outsiders", "Dirty Dancing", "Ghost", "Roadhouse" to name a few......he definitely left a huge imprint while he was here. He will be missed.

RIP Dude. He was in some of my favorite movies growing up. The Outsiders, Youngblood, Steel Dawn and Road House. If you're a guy and haven't seen Road House, something's wrong with you.

RIP Patrick.....

Roadhouse is one of those great movies to come across when you're flicking channels looking for something to watch.

He and Chris Farley can now compete for the ultimate Chippendales' spot in the great beyond.
He seemed to be one of the minority when talking about stars that weren't "full of themselves". He will be missed.

How about "Black Dog"?

A good man has passed. Very few Hollywood types earn my respect.

Didn't realize many of the movies he was in until I thought about it and read some others. He was married for like 32 years to the same woman. Tough to do in Hollywood. RIP!

They had a clip from an interview he gave when he knew that he time was drawing near, and his comments were a true testament to a man that was a famous actor, but was a real person, with real problems in his life. It was funny to hear him say that after his bout with achohol he thought that he had lived many lives (referring to all the roles he played from that point on).
He will be missed.
