Saw birds around the corner south of me, so drove to get the boat. Downwind trip only to find the birds were gone. Trolled some deep swimmers outside the dozen boats chunking in the lee of Marblehead Neck. Return trip was a little snotty, head on into steady 20 knot NW with short chop.
