I think it's a 3 toed sloth but it's got no hair. Why I dunno but that's the first animal that came to mind when I saw it. They live down there too.

That is what I heard on the news, I think FOX News (in English). If someone understands Spanish, I'll guess it is in the report posted also. The boys stoned it and left then returned later to report what they had done.
