count me in John. Strategy Meeting / Sacrificial burning of the meats at the same place again?
Location undetermined but probably same place on East Beach ;)
ThrowingTimber 10-03-2009, 12:45 PM Im in we need a designated bluefish catcher this year!!!!
ivanputski 10-03-2009, 02:38 PM The breakfast last year was one of the best in my memory... probably because it was nice to sit down in some dry clothes and have a hot meal and coffee after that weekend... had some gnarly conditions... almost got washed off the front of watch hill light sat. night...
Islander77 10-03-2009, 06:08 PM John  How bout when we meet up Ill give you the plug and you can run an auction here on S-B for it and donate the proceeds?? I know you are busy but I am gonna be going back to driving truck soon and am not gonna have reg net acess??
piemma 10-05-2009, 12:59 PM OK, John I'm out of retirement and I'm in for this tourney. What the hell, I am back as I fished all night last night and fell down 3 times in rocks and I'm still at work today. I guess I am not as old as I thought I was.
John,
I’m in again this year. I can only fish Friday night through Saturday morning though because I’m running the half marathon in Newport on Sunday morning and will need to get a little sleep Saturday night. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it to the cookout again but will miss the breakfast.
J

piemma 10-05-2009, 03:47 PM Paul, glad to have you back in the game. Were you wearing your korkers?
I was and I kept getting tangled up for some reason. 40 years wearing the damn things you'd think I would know how to walk in them.
I'm buying a pair of felt sole boots for the Canal. I ache all over today. Took one real good digger face forward on to the rocks.

Pete_G 10-13-2009, 06:51 PM They're forecasting 4 to 6 to 5 to 8 foot seas for most of the weekend. Gusts to 40 knots as well on Friday and wind all weekend. Rain the whole time.
I could have made that forecast two years ago. It is, of course, the fall surf club challenge. :hihi:

RIROCKHOUND 10-16-2009, 10:00 AM I bet I could if I wanted to....
John, I think Quonnie was added to the list as well to weigh....
Bryan,
Quonny was added for a while - then dropped by the tourny director. A little mis-communication. As far as I know they are NOT a weigh station.
