you was a hot chit...many fun memories of Capt. Lou...
before wrestling got too big, and was just a saturday diversion..
cape cod coliseum....
man how he hated it when they actually made him match up..he was happier just running his mouth and tossing a chair or two...

then came rock and roll, MTV, Cindy Lauper, and "Mario"....
and Vince got richer....

R.I.P. Capt. Lou...

Quite a few WWWF guys were locals.

Walter "Killer" Kowalski came from north of Boston (maybe Reading?) and was a seasonal camper at Bourne Scenic Park, and a sometimes Canal fisherman.

Professor Turo Tanaka used to own a bar called T-San's in Fall River, which I believe is now called the Depot.

Chief Jay Strongbow was from Providence, legend had it. He had a brother there who owned a business and had pictures of Strongbow all over the walls.

I just watched that whole video and it brought me back to being a kid watching and reinacting the bouts with my Dad. Something about wrestling these days i can't watch one second of it but i could watch the old ones forever. The Gorilla's commentary was flawless and not over the top, it makes you think it's real. He was great. RIP Capt Lou.
