They don't know where he is??? Did he fall out??? God I hope not. I have the same question I always have when these things happen to young children......"WHERE WERE THE PARENTS???!!!!!!":wall:

The dad had the weather balloon tied up, and probably stepped inside or just turned around ... you know how quick it happens ...

Agreed. No different than always keeping a firearm locked up.

People should have to take a test before they can have kids.

they were being groomed to be adventurous

which may have exacerbated the problem

"Bob Licko, 65, a neighbor, said he was leaving home when he heard commotion in the backyard.

He said he saw two boys on the roof with a camera, commenting about their brother.

"One of the boys yelled to me that his brother was way up in the air," Licko said."

I bet his 2 brothers put him up to it. THey had the camera out and everything.... very sad if he fell out somewhere along the way.......
I'd be checking that video to verify he actually did leave the ground on the balloon.....

I remember I got my brother to jump off the garage roof with a sheet parachute... didn't get hurt besides a twisted ankle.

Unfortunately, that kid would have either shown up by now, or he fell out somewhere over the 50 miles the balloon traveled.

it's gotta be a hoax....

That was the first thing that came to my mind, weren't the folks making a reality tv show? Great way to get cheap publicity...

i am very happy

that Falcon is ALIVE and Well

i can remember being that scared of being in trouble as a kid.
---------------------- -------------------- ----------------- -----------------
the only flying i did accidentally off a roof
was where i grabbed a sheet of plywood
while up on a windy roof by the sea
out in California and along came a big gust of wind
blowing me right off, luckily ...i landed on a Big sand pile
and was none the worse for wear.

He's not as stupid as the "news" shows that play into it. You can create your moment of fame and dupe the media so friggin easy now.

I've always said that hot air balloons (and other aircraft) are one of the 2 things people should never build at home. Some things should be left to the professionals.

Who has a six year old boy that can stay quiet for 5 hours during the day?

I hope they nail these desperate attention getters for every penny spent trying to save this "lost boy". I think the denver airport was shut down at one point.

The kid on the left has that "hand in the cookiejar" look to him. The whole family stinks of a stunt. Every word the father says sounds more and more he's trying to pad his lie.

Pathetic.
