As I came home tonight in N. Truro, in pitch darkness, I could't help notice a million blue strobes just past my drive, and I mean JUST, by a foot, past. I thought that I missed another great party and pulled up to the house.I get out of the truck and hear screams and other sounds of general pandomonium. Sounds like mass murder. That put me on a dead run to see if I could help, the neighbors are all good friends and I'm ready to do anything that would be of help for them. I burst through the bushes at the road and epicenter of the racket.

A bunch of kids on a hayride with really great sound effects and a police escort.
Cool, I knew that.....looks like fun.....

Glad no one noticed me, I coulda been shot, pepper sprayed or tazed.
I was talking about the annual hayrides with the guys next door and one was bragging about dumping a bushel of horse apples on the wagon from an overpass. One of the other guys said" That was you, you SOB! It took me years to get over that , you bastard!!":rotf2::rotf2:

One of the neoghbors told me that last years hayride was deemed a hohum affair by the "cool" kids. The adults who put it on "agreed" and decided to step it up a notch this year. They had scary things happen at different stops. Like a creature rise out of the pond at Pond Village. A guy in a decorated wetsuit. and a chainsaw massacre on pumpkin headed people. The hayride driver being attacked. No wonder the screams seemed so real....:rotf2:
