Every friday night in my house is movie night. While we do our share of kiddie flicks, I throw in some gems from the past. Lately I've been in a kick of some of the films I enjoyed growing up and my kids have loved them. here are a few - anyone else think of some forgotten gems?

1. Gremlins - the kids LOVED this flick, but they wouldnt go upstairs without someone with them for a few weeks.
2. ET - I dont think I liked this much when it came out, but was blown away. We've watched it about 5 times since.
3. Clash of the Titans

I've been turing the kids on to Classic Horror Movies this month.

We've done:

The Creature from the Black Lagoon
Frankenstein
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Night of the Living Dead
The Abominable Dr. Phibes
Horror of Dracula

and this weekend is Ghost Story weekend.

last month I turned them on to The Maltese Falcon and The Grapes of Wrath.

A good movie to revisit is Glengary Glen Ross. Definetly a guy flick and some classic acting and lines to remember. We had it on in the office the other day. Check it out especially if you're in a sales role or own a business. Can't put a clip in here cuz it's pretty graphic(LANGUAGE) but the pitch that Alec Baldwin does in the beginning is a classic!
