Put a golf ball on the kick stand and run a rope from the basket to each grip on the handle bars (both sides)that will keep it from going over when parked just make sure to wrap it around the seat and secure it before riding so that it won't get caught in the chain. I damaged one rod and scratched a mint reel because the bike tipped over. Gel seat cover reduces the sore bottom you'll have the next day.

Nice ride, the seats a little high for me, I wouldn't reach the pedals. I found a rear basket set at the dump last weekend.
I put my rod tube on the front fork and handle bars. You gotta swing your leg to get off a boy bike. If your rod is on the back you'll kick yourself down to the rocks..
Putting a bike rack on the front of my truck, too. I love these fishy projects, so much plotting, planning and scheming for the perfect gear.

I think you'd be better off with a trike with your high center of gravity.

For someone who only a few years ago hated the canal, you sure turned around quickly;)

Godd job big fela;

You will learn just like I had to that you should have bought a girls frame...I didn' and wish I had....the old timers know all....lifting a leg full of hip boots and waders over the bar is a PIA

You should to add a rod holder or four

You shoud go get the added oversized kickstand (the bike shop next to first stop bait and tackle past red top aways but on the eft has them)

We need a canl bike thread
