Just wondering - I went out cold as a codfish shortly after
dinner and didn't get out...:sleeps:
BTW, how many of you knew it was called the Full Beaver Moon to begin with...:hihi:

Last night i was tryin to get a big fish (30- 40 lb estimate) up on the rocks. It was a little hairy to go down and grab it so i had to wait for a wave to help things out. 1st try was not successful. 2nd try (W/ the help of a wave) almost had her until my rod snapped. line as well lost the fish and the butt of the rod came back and smacked me on th head pretty good. Been thinkin of all the things i could have done different. being safe sucks. should have just went down there and grabbed it and hoped for the best. i have landed fish in the corner right to my left but could not get it over there. heat of the moment i thought the wave was big enough to get it up . I was sadly mistaken. Bummin!!! its one thing to lose a good fish its another to break a rod in the process.
GOT A COUPLE FISH ON THE FULL MOON THOUGH.. NOT BAD

On the other hand, you are OK and that is a memory that will last a long time......often those mean more than a fish itself.

Odizza great story and sorry for your misfortune. You are alive to tell it so being safe is #1.
