#2 has to be the winner, it's the only one within the guidelines of the contest.

#2 :uhuh:

...although mini-bloo is one hand-some little monkey :D

Isn't required to be a "fishing" pumpkin, just a pumpkin (well, no Giants pumpkin)

I voted #3 for the spirit of the holiday.

Next would be #2 because of the freehand carving.

No offense, but #1 looks like a stencile. Good, but I always look for originality in the carving. I ALWAYS carve freehand, but that's just me.
(this year I did a cyclop face, which came out pretty good.)

Should have carved on one of those 1000lb gourds and could have at least gone for a world record sized striper impression.

And the Winner IS:

By a slight edge - Dave Ross, Diggin Jiggin

2nd: Tim Tim a/k/a South Pond

3rd: joint effort, my son Liam and I (pics don't show well but it is supposed to be a T-Rex pumpkin eating a ghost)...

Thank you gentlemen!

Dave, you win a #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& plug that he already sent so forward me your address.

BigFish Larry has an added bonus I will let him add for the winner(s).

Thanks - it was fun. Next year we'll have more warning (and thought) - thanks!

Kudos to Larry & Scott for funding the winnings :btu:

Not positive if it is a stencil or not but I would be surprised if it is. The carver is an extremely talented person that does no sheeit fantastic work (his rubber baits are ugly - kinda puke color :yak5: )

Not a stencil, carved from my own little brain. I actually carved this before i knew there was a contest and entered it just for the hell of it.
If it was a stencil it would have been of my own hand anyhoo. :jump1:
Thank John and everyone who voted.:uhuh:

I didn't think it was stenciled. Kinda like Numbskull slinging an eel, he could but it doesn't fit the reputation.

I will post choice plugs tomorrow for the winners!

Sweet - thanks again!
