I spoke to Steve's wife Debbie tonight and she asked me to pass along this information about Steve's wake and funeral. Wake will be Friday November 20th between 4 and 8 p.m. at Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, Route 151 in Mashpee opposite Dino's Sports bar and Andy's Market.
Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m Saturday.
Also I would like to thank every one of you people on this site for all your kindness and condolences. I am suffering dearly at the loss of my best friend and I know Steve is in all your hearts, but my loss can't compare to the pain n loss to his family of this big and beautiful man. his love was family first, his passion was fishing. I'll never be the same but I will go on because that's how Steve
would have wanted it. Enjoy your family and your life. only now through Steve's passing do I understand how much a true friend he was. I love you Steve...thank you all...

Thanks Dave. I also lost my best friend and fishing partner in 2006. You do go on but it is somehow never the same. Keep Steve in your mind and your heart.

I really did not know Steve but I felt like I did through his posts. I will make a donation to his memorial fund mentioned in the above obituary.
