View Full Version : Plugfest place to have it
Slipknot 11-20-2009, 12:03 PM I'd like to see if we can still have it at the order of Eagles place in Buzzards Bay that Flaptail suggested. If we can great, if not I have another idea and a backup to that.
Depending on how much the rental hall costs, I was thinking of something different to do this year. The past few years most everyone stays the whole day and that is great, some people bring food and some don't.
I was wondering if a suggestion to have the admission for those who bring a dish of food be 5 bucks and those who don't be 10 bucks and we get some catered food brought it to offset those who can't bring food or drink.
how does that sound?
Maybe we can make this plugfest the biggest yet.

chefchris401 11-20-2009, 01:34 PM Id like to be involved in this, i build my own plugs and am a chef, so i could help with food and what not.
Im not sure how the plug aspect of its works, is it a trade only type affair?
I have access to all kinds of catering equipment and restaurant goodies.
Send me a PM if its easier. Thanks Guys. Chris

Not exactly. It is a show and tell, stand and drool, trade, ho, give away, anything you want it to be sort of thing. Mostly it is a chance to talk with other builders and get ideas. By all means please come and join the fun. You'll be glad you did.

Another way to go is to have a Striped-Bass lunch ... $5 ? ? whatever .. Burger ,chips, drink .. or a dog .. Need a grill and pot of boiling water for dogs .. I cooked 6 years at Bingo for old grouchy bastages and they thought I was good (didn't pick my nose in front of them).. If you want to go that way profits can go to site .. I volunteer my time ,, just need money collector/food passer outer... I got Cosco card for burgers.. just need bread conection and soda/water connection .. we'd have to figure cost to set price for confined starving people ..
