Are you kidding me!!

Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The three, all members of the Navy's elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called a captain's mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

This country is wacked!! those guys are hero's

I wouldn't be surprised if they're being "charged" simply as a process measure of good faith with the Iraqi government. Though, it's ironic that Blackwater is a big reason they're so hyper-sensitive to the issue.

That being said, I'd wager nothing comes of this. It does seem like there must be something deeper going on as it doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense.

Who cares if they hung this POS by his nuts first...... This country should laugh and tell them that all terrorists will be treated like they treat our captured soldiers...... Fair is fair,,,,

Agreed. Regardless, with the very little that we know about this (as read above), this is a joke.

I agree with Duke - the guys are heroes and the guy is lucky all he got was a fat lip.

How come we haven't seen this on Fox?

Because it's not a negative topic directly (or indirectly) about Obama or Democrats?

This post has nothing to do with anything. Good try though.
