It sure isn't the new MTV show Jersey Shore. I not even going to touch on the stereotyping this show took hits one before it even aired. This show is an absolute embarrassment for anyone who hails from or lives in the Garden State. I cannot express enough how much I thought this show sucked. Pegged as depicting one aspect of youth culture and the rites of passage of young people. I just don't see it. The cast is aged from 21 up to almost 30 which I wouldn't exactly call youthful, except possibly if that refers to the limited cranial capacity acting ability, and overall inability of any of them to do even the simplest tasks at a T-shirt store. I wonder if we'll actually ever see "the shore" in this series.
Ted Nugent's Spirit of the Wild, now there's a reality TV personality. If only they'd let Uncle Ted come out to NJ and hunt down the cast of Jersey Shore, this would be an exciting show.

Reality TV Blows.....

One of the worst shows I have ever seen. It makes me never want to step foot in the area the show is shot.

Reality TV is for people without one.

Reality TV: the closest thing would be the nightly news.

Everything else would fall under the "celebreality" category.
It's just bad acting by even worse "actors". I can feel the brain cells dying whenenver I even glimpse at one of these POS.

Don't have hire writers or actors so the networks like them. Think how much Seinfeld and crew made per episode. I never watch any of them.

I saw about 10 minutes of jersey Shore one night. Absolutely ridiculous... BUt the today show this Am was talking about it's portrayal of Italian Americans... IMHO it reflects the idiots on the show, not a culture...
