Muzzleloader season will be upon us shortly. When climbing into that treestand please take a moment to make sure that the the pressure cap is not intact. There were two muzzleloader incidents in New Hampshire, one deadly. These were not accidents, it was stupidity. The one that lived had his gun fully loaded with the cap in place, while lifting his weapon into the tree the trigger housing got stuck on a tree branch, gun fired and hit the hunter in the hand.
