I recieved a call from one of the guys at East Bay Anglers it seems I forgot to purchase tickes for the show. Of course we started talking fishing and bob pond came up. I told him that I saw the obit and was going to send a donation to avis boyd as per instructions on the obit. Only my friend at East Bay Anglers told me that Avis Boyd had also recently passed away. Does anyone out there know where I might send a donation in Bobs name it seems the least I can do. If it was not for the effort of mr pond I dont think either the commercials or the rec guys would have bass to fight over. Thanks

Donations to Avid Boyd would have been
appropriate but she joined Bob Pond with
days. The best that can be done is to
remember those two as partners who
helped save our beloved stripers. It was
remarked on this site that there is something
very romantic about older couples who pass
together as though they can't bear life without
the other. That was the best compliment that
could be paid them.

Hi All. The family wants any donations to go to the Save the Bay Fund in Rhode Island under Bob's name. The ceramony was very nice.Small crowd due to the storm but still a nice gathering of family and freinds. Ron
