Just a quick question if anyone has an opinion. My wife has a 2004 Pathfinder. She's actually only put it in 4WD about twice a year since she got and at that didn't drive very far. The dealer recommended changing the 4-WD fluids and charge her $300.00 to do so. Is it really necessary? Does this stuff break down over time or by the use of the 4WD option?

I do all mine every 2-1/2 to 3 years or at 50,000 miles whatever comes first

300 sounds close

I have paid more for a chevy but did the tranny as well

1. front differential
2. rear differential
3. transfer case
4. Tranny

do all 4 at once
