Can you believe how far the Tea Party has come
that polls report Republican Scott Brown is within
nine points of Democrat for Kennedy Senate seat
special election January 19. This is the sacred
seat only for Massachusetts' royal family or designated
heirs. Or maybe Tea Party had less to do with it than
President Obama's extreme leftist policys. Take
your choice. Amazing what only a year can do!!

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the good voters of Massachusetts realize that we need better balance in the Senate that what we've had for many years.

I think you're glossing over the part about Ted Kennedy not being on the ballot.

or, to look at it another way, he still trails by 9 points...

I am voting for Brown....

I truly hope he gets in... would be good for the commonwealth...

If all the people that I have talked to, who say they are voting for him, get to the polls.. I think he might have a shot...

Most folks I have talked to ..do NOT trust Martha..... and a lot of these folks usually vote dem. ....

On Tuesday, January 19th there is a special election for the US Senate in Massachusetts. This race has huge national implications. This is the seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy and most importantly, would represent the 41st vote breaking Harry Reid’s filibuster proof majority in the Senate.

If we can elect Army Natl. Guard Lt. Col. Scott Brown to the US Senate then…

Obamacare. – Dead
Cap and Trade – Dead
Another Stimulus Package – Dead

This will be a very low turnout election so GOTV is crucial.

Here are three things you can do.

There has been no public polling released so far. Click on this link and vote for Public Policy Polling to poll Massachusetts this week. (The CT and AL races are 10 months away.)

Public Policy Polling: Voting Time (http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2009/12/voting-time.html)

Click on this link to make Voter ID and GOTV calls via the Brown Campaign’s virtual phone bank. We are halfway towards our goal of making 500,000 calls by election day. The sooner we can make the initial calls, the sooner we can start re-calling Undecided’s.

Finally, if you have $5, 10, $25, $50 or whatever you can spare, please sign up to donate to the Brown Campaign on January 11.

Donate (http://www.redinvadesblue.com/Moneybomb/Donate.html)

I understand that for some of you, Scott may not be as socially conservative as you would like but he is as socially conservative as you can be and still get elected in Massachusetts.

His opponent supports Taxpayer funding for Abortion. She supports overturning the Defense of Marriage Act. She opposes the troop surge in Afghanistan. She supports a second stimulus package.

If you would like more information about Scott, you can visit his website at Brown for US Senate | (http://brownforussenate.com)

Thank you.

It probably has more to do with the fact that Little Martha is a bubbleheaded lightweight than anything else.

Striperman is right, there will be very little
turnout as usual with off calendar elections.
Important everyone gets out vote. Martha
will have every pinky ring union boss putting
pressure on rank and file to hold signs for her
at polling places whether they want to or not.

Something ain't right with a broad who gets
married at 47 years.

somethin ain't right with people calling her broad and giving a %$%$%$%$ if she got married at 47 or 27. :smash:

For the record, I don't live in Mass and am not a Martha supporter even if I did live there...

I wanted to see Steve Pag's and have a Statue of Lucky at the State House!

Thank you for saying that. From what I can tell the majority of us (men and women) on this board are no great prizes either. But it would help the general discussion if folks just stuck to facts and not got personal - that may lead me to drag out my old Cosmopolitan centerfold of Scott Brown. Not many people are in an uproar around this and they shouldn't be, but I doubt if a female politician had posed nude when she was in her early twenties that she'd make it past the day she announced her candidacy

Scary thing in this state is that they could put him on it and he'd still win.

There is a Kennedy running, though.

same old concept. Name you top 3 issues, See where the candidiates stand on them, vote for the one that best represents your view of the issues. I read where both stand on my 3 issues and Brown is right in line with my views.

There is nothin' like a broad,
Nothin' walks like a broad,
Nothin' talks like a broad,
There is nothin' you can name
that is anything like a broad.

I don't think the Tea Parties have had anything to do with it (event that are built up more by the media than anything). I think more people are starting to see that Brown is the better candidate.

We can only hope that he wins.

is there somewhere I can read up on their "views" and election "promises"? I would actually like to know where each stands on a few issues, primarily gun control. My family usually votes for the one most likely to let us keep our guns whether it be a dem or rep, don't matter.
My ex coworker that sang on American Idol with his daughter met him a few times and said that he was the least sleazy politician he had ever met. I feel that Martha is too entrenched in IOU's to other pols that it will just continue the assanine cycle of bad pols we have. Time for some new young blood. Martha shoud stick to crime fighting.

Mike , Martha says she is for gun owner rights, yet she never made a move to abolish the Consumer Protection Regulations placed on guns by her predecessors. As far as I know every gun shop I have been in is endorsing Scott Brown and even though my union is going the other way I will be voting Brown.
