View Full Version : F-ing Jets MarshCappa 01-09-2010, 06:48 PM Stupid Bungels are rolling over again for the Jets. This is tough too watch! BigFish 01-09-2010, 06:53 PM Jets look good! Good game! Team rock 01-09-2010, 07:58 PM Com mon man!! Zeroooo chi chi not in cinco :yak5: He was crying, with that new black truck in the parking lot, oh had no team markings, just his self proclaim great ness :smash:. Reminds me of Keyshaw another looooser! Well no matter in the NFL it`s a W or L, today it`s was down your throat W, and that my friends is 61 - 14 in two weeks! Not to mention, the W over Colts. Which the colts laid down after Mannie was sacked [touch down "Jets"] and down 9 points. New England win it`s rematch Jets/ Colts, that will great to see. Raider Ronnie 01-09-2010, 08:11 PM Jets got a very good defense ! MarshCappa 01-09-2010, 09:40 PM This is all we need.....a bunch of obnoxious Jets fans thinking they can win it all now!:yak5: fishsmith 01-09-2010, 09:45 PM That's the D I want attacking Indy. Coles is an imbedded Jet, and the Bungles did what the Bungles do. Team rock 01-09-2010, 09:54 PM Speaking only for myself win all, No! That`s a long way, but a W is a W.. D I want attacking Indy. ??????????? Obnoxious Jet fan, lol Honest a big fan of the game. Cowboys looking good [= showing of the cowgirls ] Team rock 01-09-2010, 10:05 PM Under dog Jets vs Colts, da ja ve super bowl #3 Makes for a good game! jake 01-09-2010, 10:22 PM Go jets! jake: wader-dad 01-09-2010, 11:18 PM I am a rational not obnoxious Jet fan-- for 44 years. I have suffered through some terrible years and losses. (I was at the Marino spike game). So it just feels good to get a playoff win since they are as rare as me catching a cow. I was ready to write off Sanchez but maybe in a few years he will mature and we will have a quarterback finally. I will enjoy this week and then reality will hit next weekend. The Dad Fisherman 01-10-2010, 12:17 AM Cincinatti ran out of gas weeks ago....no surprise the Jets beat them. the Jets do have a very good "D"...but wherever they go next week will be the end of their playoff run. fishaholic18 01-10-2010, 01:26 AM WOW....J E T S look good for real.......Scary D gf2020 01-10-2010, 09:38 AM Congrats to the Jets, I like getting a good chuckle at the expense of the Bengals - they looked terrible. Clogston29 01-10-2010, 03:43 PM Get used to watching the jets win. They're going in the right direction. I see them winning the division next year. much more talented that NE on d and the offense will improve a lot in a year. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device MarshCappa 01-10-2010, 07:52 PM Just because all you guys here are good Jets fans doesn't make me hate them less. Just hate you guys less maybe. ;) My obnoxious statement was probably a bit much seeing NE fans are just as bad. My Dad was over today and he was saying it looks like we have to go with the Jets now for the rest of playoffs. :yak5: What is this world coming to!:fury: Team rock 01-10-2010, 08:13 PM Jet fans have thick skin! jake 01-17-2010, 09:22 PM Go jets! jake: Sanchez :gh: Jake Goose 01-17-2010, 09:38 PM If the jets where to host the AFC championship I'd put my money on'um, buuut... I can't wait to see those JETS crash and Burn :devil2:!!!...figuratively BigFish 01-17-2010, 09:41 PM I will be cheering for the Jets to kick some cowardly Colt ass! Goose 01-17-2010, 09:49 PM Sanchez is gonna fold like a rookie at the final table in las vegas, he won't hear himself think. BigFish 01-17-2010, 09:57 PM I am hoping Manning is the table that folds! I like Manning but the day they laid down to the Jets and let the undefeated season slip away they lost my respect! They are supposed to play football! The Colt organization is a bunch of sissy's! Bunch of quitters and they let their grasp on history go.....and I hope those same Jets make them regret it! Slipknot 01-17-2010, 09:59 PM F'in INEPT Norve :wall::wall: :fury::smash::smash: can't believe the screw ups I saw today by the chargers those guys have to feel bad, year after year losing in the playoffs. Sorry Larry, but I hate the Colts more than the Jets so that is the only reason I want the Colts to go down next week. I am glad they didn't want to go 16-0. I hope the Saints win the whole thing Goose 01-17-2010, 10:05 PM I agree to some extent, you know they're gonna use that as motivation tool. Assuming the head coach thinks they couldn't handle the extra pressure, maybe they couldn't, then they made the right move. I'll sleep just fine if they win. BigFish 01-17-2010, 10:35 PM Its not that I wanted them to Bruce.....but they threw an opportunity out the window. They are paid to play football......so you play the game! They could get hurt at any time......so play the game. They robbed their fans and themselves of the possibility of making history.....and even if they win the superbowl......the fact that they opted to "play it safe".....will stick in their throats for all time! If our Patriots had laid down like that I would have lost all respect for them...but Belichek has too many balls to lay down like the Colts team and their management did! MarshCappa 01-18-2010, 07:51 AM I didn't watch the game but saw the highlights. What a weird year for NE fans to be watching the playoffs without our Pats. I have no idea how to feel. I can't stand the Colts or the Jets. I hope New Orleans wins it all. It would be good for that city and the region to have a champion. afterhours 01-18-2010, 08:19 AM as much as i dislike them- the jets have ballz.....rivers and tomlinson- two biggest crybabbies in the nfl.. jeffthechef 01-18-2010, 09:26 AM Its not that I wanted them to Bruce.....but they threw an opportunity out the window. YOU NEVER LAY DOWN IN FOOTBALL. at least real coaches don't anyway. bring'em on. i'm a "classless" jets fan (according to one of you guys!!). we can win the whole thing and most people will still say we suck. good for them. sports is about gettin' the farthest in the season. so, does that mean we "have a better team" than the chargers? i'll leave that to you, but WE ARE STILL PLAYING BY THE WAY! imo belechick did well with a much diminished team/staff that is a work in progress and the jets did well with a work in progress....ps i grew up a jim plunkett fan, i've never hated the pat's, but i LOVE the venom my neighbors have for us! Good for your team. I respect how they play even though I would never root for them. My obnoxious fan comment was more toungue and cheek and a little jealousy. Enjoy your time now if they go all the way cuz it can ghange oh so fast. jeffthechef 01-18-2010, 11:49 AM Good for your team. I respect how they play even though I would never root for them. My obnoxious fan comment was more toungue and cheek and a little jealousy. Enjoy your time now if they go all the way cuz it can ghange oh so fast. thanks man but none of this stuff bothers me! its all tongue in cheek! it truly sucks being a jets fan, because of all the pain that comes with it. i cheered louder yesterday than when my Yanks won the series, because when you are so used to misery and watching games slip away, you gotta celebrate when you can. bring on those "lay down" till it counts colts....hey, we beat'em in '69 and they were bigger favorites then..... Slipknot 01-18-2010, 12:02 PM Its not that I wanted them to Bruce.....but they threw an opportunity out the window. They are paid to play football......so you play the game! If our Patriots had laid down like that I would have lost all respect for them...but Belichek has too many balls to lay down like the Colts team and their management did! I understand and agree. It is also going to be hard to root for either team. It's Belichick btw I think Peyton Manning is the best in football right now, and there'd be nothing better for me to see him knocked down a few notches next Sunday. Maybe the Jets D can pound him right out of the game early, otherwise it's gonna be a battle, Congrats to you Jet fans , I wish the Pats had a D like yours. Mike P 01-18-2010, 01:33 PM Watch--how much do you want to bet that the Jets will get about 80-100 yards in penalties called against them? They're going to get a classic Indy home job. Polian is probably already sending tape of Revis making contact beyond 5 yards to the league office. I expect at least two crucial pass interference/illegal contact calls against the Jets next week. No team gets the home calls like Indy does. Besides, the NFL wants a Favre/Manning SB matchup. While the Jets play in NY, they really don't have many fans outside of the tri-state area. The NY teams don't have national followings like Dallas, GB or Oakland, so they'd prefer the "star power" QB matchup. No team gets the home calls like Indy does. Absolutely that will happen No team gets the home calls like Indy does I agree 1000% Even this past weekend's game, early in the game it was 3rd down, pass copleted by Dallas Clarke and he slides across the first down line. His knee was down well before the point where the ball was across the yardage needed but of course the official gives it to them because it's the Colts :smash: I have DVR and immediately rewound it and paused, he was atleast 3 feet short. Then they hurried the next play of course. The League cow towws to the colts like no other team. afterhours 01-18-2010, 02:42 PM right on mike p..... MarshCappa 01-18-2010, 03:07 PM I truly believe the NFL wants Manning in but I'm not sure that they really loose if Farve insn't in the big game. There's a lot of spin the league can use about how having a franchise in New Orleans helped get the city back on it's feet post Katrina. Now that's a real feel good story plus with the game in FL there would be a ton of Saints fans I'm sure. The Dad Fisherman 01-18-2010, 03:52 PM There are plenty of Jets fans around here...i don't know any indy fans. If the Jets win I gotta listen to it for 2 weeks....If indy wins....peace and quiet. I like Peace and Quiet. Then I want to see Peyton's pouty face when he loses the Superbowl. Mike P 01-18-2010, 06:37 PM Didn't the Pats get something like 160 penalty yards against them in the 2007 game in Indy? Slipknot 01-18-2010, 08:00 PM 10 penalties for 146 yards colts had 4 for 25 yards Bill Poulian is head of the competition commitee isn't he? I'm sure that has no bearing on anything:smash: good luck Jets jake 01-23-2010, 09:57 PM j e t s ssssssssssssss We are going all the way to the SB this year!:cheers2: Jake Goose 01-23-2010, 10:48 PM S U U U U U C K S U U U U U C K S U U U U U C K vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
