Goes into your drill press like a bit!:uhuh: numbskull 01-10-2010, 06:04 PM Google "Kutzall" Guys also use cove router bits with a pilot (bearing removed) and reground spade bits. stripermaineiac 01-10-2010, 08:06 PM They have the Cutzballs at Woodcrafter. Many have them right in the shop.Takes some practice but works nice. Just run them in reverse for best results. As far as using a drill bit for the cups well you need to go big say 5/8 to 3/4 qnd the plug needs to be held at an angle so your cutting into the meat of the plug. you can either cut the angle ist or after depending what you want for a cup. I learned that trick from my shop teacher when i was a kid. I'd post a couple pics but can't seem to get that to work. Not all that good on the computer.try it on a couple peices of dowel. The center hole works good as a guide. A v block helps clamped to the drill press. I used to use a wood clamp to hold them in place.Hope this helps. Ron Slipknot 01-10-2010, 09:00 PM you can also take a spade bit to a grinder and round or radius it over and grind the center point smaller I've done it and it works moosh 01-11-2010, 11:15 AM thnx for the advice .. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
