All comes down to GPH vs Speed.
if you're burning 20gph at 20kts in a Downeast hull or 85gph at 85kts.... Those high fliers in the dump would come at you pretty damn fast though!!!

My problem is my hat flies off at 26 knots, I use this as my internal speedometer... My face would peel off at 85 I think. I saw some mpg reading for a boat similar to this, when it is cruising along at 40 or 50 mph it isn't that bad, but when he puts the hammer down it is like 1/8- 1/4 mile /gallon at those speeds.
80+ mph and the guy can still hold a camcorder !!!!!
