View Full Version : Motel for PlugFest?
Charleston 01-28-2010, 01:24 PM Where are you "out of towners" going to be staying? How about that Best Western off the Bourne Rotary? I think that's it. Right on the Canal.
Anything else in the area? Need to be near Lindsey's for a good fried clam dinner. :uhuh:
Slipknot 01-28-2010, 06:50 PM A couple of guys asked me where near Boozards bay is a motel
I know a couple in Middleboro but not near the canal,
I don't stay in them and am not aware of which ones are good.
Any help or suggestions guys?
BigFish 01-28-2010, 08:33 PM Google Bourne and see what the tourism listings have???:)
striperman36 01-28-2010, 09:02 PM lot of tour groups stay in those hotels in Middleboro.

Raven 01-29-2010, 04:46 AM was a nightmare
people slamming friggan doors all night long
ProfessorM 01-29-2010, 11:17 AM same place you stayed last time in Middleboro area, No? Several places also in very close proximity to days inn. Location very close to BB
Charleston 01-29-2010, 11:26 AM The places listed when I Google Bourne are pretty seedy. The Days INN in Middleborough was OK last time. What is it, about 10 miles from BB?
ProfessorM 01-29-2010, 12:15 PM i'd say 15 maybe 18 max. It has pretty much been my commute for last 18 years so it feels like a few minutes to me.
There are a couple places right off 44 rotary, maybe 1000 yards, going towards Taunton.
Also one across from Wal-mart up 44 about 3 or 4 miles.
Finatic 01-31-2010, 08:43 AM There must be some motels on the Cape that are closer.
BigFish 01-31-2010, 08:46 AM Bill...what about the ones you stayed in in Rockland before or even in Plymouth??? Short ride??
Charleston 01-31-2010, 10:37 AM Before I would go up to Rockland or even Plymouth for that matter, I'd stay in Middleborough off 495.
I was hoping there was a decent spot down by the Canal. My wife and I stay at the place at the head of Flamouth Harbor a lot. Falmouth is further than Middleborough though.
eastendlu 01-31-2010, 09:06 PM I will probably be staying in Boston as i will be going with the wife to visit the kids.I will shoot down for plugfest and go back up for the rest of the weekend.:)
Rockfish9 02-01-2010, 08:15 AM My wife booked a room a few weeks back, I'll have to call her and ask her what he name is.. I know it is 5 minutes or so from where plug fest is..
Rockfish9 02-01-2010, 05:17 PM We are staying at the Eastern Inn ... 6 Bridge approach rd. in Buzzards bay...
Finatic 02-14-2010, 01:13 PM The Knight's Inn across the bridge in Bourne has rooms that are reasonable, and, it's close to destination Plug Fest.
