JohnR 02-04-2010, 08:43 AM You were too crazt to realize you are a couple years late on your mid-life-crisis :tooth:
Nice Ride :kewl: . Though not sure what eelslime does to chrome.
numbskull 02-04-2010, 08:43 AM Please make sure you are not an organ donor, or some poor soul may end up with a part of you in them........or even worse (as in the case of face transplants), on them. They might be able to use your private parts for bio-weapon research, however.
vineyardblues 02-04-2010, 08:59 AM Yes u r crazy :grins:
VB
Slipknot 02-04-2010, 09:02 AM You're a perfectly normal well adjusted male, and don't let your wife or anybody else tell you anything different.
did you see the movie Wild Hogs recently:smash:
gonna be chilly riding that now
PRBuzz 02-04-2010, 09:06 AM You are not crazy, just be extremely safe especially this time of year with all the sand on the streets. I've got neighbors that ride Harleys and that is all they talk about: ooops where did that pile of sand come from!
Tagger 02-04-2010, 09:46 AM Go for it .. loosing Flap was a reality slap .. We're not here long ..
Team rock 02-04-2010, 10:08 AM Life`s short!
Add some adjustable out riggers, so you can troll at the canel.
allchumdup 02-04-2010, 10:54 AM You are going crazy like the rest of us! Enjoy but remember your neighbors at 6:00am! HA---LOUIE
Redsoxticket 02-04-2010, 11:38 AM there goes the neighborhood.
enjoy your new ride.
Raven 02-04-2010, 12:31 PM Do us all a Favor and pretend that while driving the HARLEY
you are completely invisible .... because if you lay down on
the road way -> with cheek to tar....and look at an on coming car
you'll see two tires coming at you looking as if they will simply
drive around you or straddle you.... and you'll see the air underneath the car but not the car....
try it and you'll see what i mean.... this is exactly how dogs see cars -> especially the smaller dogs...
this is also how most motorist's see a person on a motorcycle too
their vision simply raps around them.... so never forget that !
there's nothing that can replace Flaptail in your life....
but if you could ask him....
he'd tell ya to fish often -> and fish with new friends
for a persons whole lifetime on planet Earth ....is 1-100 years
but .... while in Heaven it is only a minute or less
then again.... a lifetime on EARTH while miserable is an Eternity.
so .... that being said... your doing the right thing to have fun....
just be careful doing it... because
those fishing legs of yours are more valuable
than you could ever imagine.
fishsmith 02-04-2010, 01:19 PM Life is short.

They have forever been the slings and arrows of my nonsensical life.
Where all my sins reside.

Individuals experiencing a mid-life crisis have some of these feelings:
search of an undefined dream or goal
a deep sense of remorse for goals not accomplished
desire to achieve a feeling of youthfulness
need to spend more time alone or with certain peers
They exhibit some of these behaviors:
abuse of alcohol
acquisition of unusual or expensive items such as motorbikes, boats, clothing, sports cars, jewelry, gadgets, tattoos, piercings, etc.
depression
blaming themselves or their partner for their failures.
paying special attention to physical appearance such as covering baldness, wearing "younger" designer clothes etc.
entering relationships with younger people (either/or sexual, professional, parental, etc.)
placing overimportance (and possibly a psychologically damaging amount) on their children to excel in areas such as sports, arts or academics.
I joke that I went through a mini early midlife crisis 2 years ago. I didnt think of it as a bad thing though. I think that sometimes we need to hit the reset button on our behavior patterns to keep life from getting stale, or to offset that which we feel is wrong in our lives so that we can move on.
Love it, enjoy it, embrace the moment and live it up while you still can!
Swimmer 02-06-2010, 01:50 PM I dream at night about buying a boat or a corvette. Used to have a vette, and a small boat.
Several nights in a row my wife woke me up and complained about how I was talking in my sleep and that I seemed upset. I asked her what I was saying, and she said, "something about the price of fuel at the dock, whats that about anyway?" Nothing honey, go back to sleep.
PRBuzz 02-06-2010, 02:01 PM "something about the price of fuel at the dock, whats that about anyway?"
Get a trailerable boat! Then they can't gouge you at the dock. Sleep soundly.
MAKAI 02-06-2010, 03:40 PM If all your friends have boats you sleep even better.
vanstaal 02-06-2010, 05:51 PM Fish or ride :wall: hmmmmmmmmmmmm :fishin:
good luck

stiff tip 02-09-2010, 04:13 AM She,s kill:jump1: ya
i can't think of a better way to go,as long as it was a slow death..... jenn.... u can't ride the snow sleds in the summer , and your eyes go good with the color of the bike (jade blue)......dave
Sounds Like a good investment to me.In 1980 I bought a Harley.I was twenty years old..
It was my only transportation for over a year.I rode in wind rain, and snow..
With no front fender..The girls would jump off the curb to get on the back of it.It was awesome.Went crazy on it for a while then I had to sell it to buy my first work truck.I Laid it down a half dozen times, once doing sixty when the rear tire blue out. From the spot the bike hit the ground to where I ended up was over 60 ft.Right next to a telephone pole.Strippers, booze and bikes don't add up real well so I sold the bike..Bikes are fun to ride but ya have to have eyes around your head. There's to many cars and so much pavement to rub into...
Ride Safe My friend..
Live Life..
