Hey All!
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am a relatively new fisherman from the San Francisco Bay Area! I am just waiting for the summer to begin so I can get out there again. I did quite a bit lot of fishing last year near Pacifica (10 miles south of San Francisco) using hellraisers and top water plugs. Didn't really catch anything it's been hard out here lately. During this off time I decided to paint some wood plugs kits that I ordered from Saltys. They are currently being shipped and will have them next week.

Any other people from the west coast?

Not West Coast but welcome...Check out the plug building section for a truely humbling experience....and ideas... : )

There are fish there. Never fished around Pacifica, just in the Sacramento Delta. But I do know people that have and catch...

Welcome to the board. There are a few West Coasters here. I've purchased a lot of kits from Scott and they've been great. Like previously mentioned, search the plug building forum for steps to build your plugs.

Thanks everyone! I got my plugs and finally got set up in my patio, waiting for the rain to stop here so I can start painting!

Hey Efoo,
I'm doing my late winter drive through SB. com and saw your greet. I'm one of the old raggedy old salts that hang around and do catch fish in Pacifica. Did very well last year both during daylight hours and nighttime.
I'll see if I remember how to set up photos on the site.
