RoyL 02-19-2010, 08:02 AM nice looking fish Rappin Mikey 02-19-2010, 08:23 AM I'm pretty sure it is still 28". I don't pay to much attention to that as I don't keep any. I too would like to catch one in my yak. RoyL 02-19-2010, 09:06 AM They are much more fun in open water for sure. Your best bet for a fish open water would probably be fishing the Concord or sudbury rivers. The numbers are good in there. Other then that the CT river (oxbow area) is the only other place that I know where there is good numbers of pike. Even tho there are many lakes and ponds that have loads of pike....your best bet would be to stick to rivers for action. I have had days with more then 20 fish per day fishing rivers. Many of the pike might be 4-8lbs, but there pike. I plan to take the fly rod this year........Every year I plan it in my head but never do so. JoeBass 02-19-2010, 09:21 AM Nice fish! I've kept a couple over the years. Boney, but good tasting. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
