I know I know its not plug building but it is plug builders brain food.

Some plugfest attendees have request this recipe. Bon Appetite

REUBEN CASSEROLE
2 small bags sauerkraut or about 16 oz. total
1lb lean corned beef - I got shaws at deli ctr and had it cut very thin to shaved
1 bottle Russian dressing
1.5lbs swiss cheese
1.5 loaves marble rye dice into small cubes

preheat oven to 350
grease with butter a 13x9 casserole dish or like pam
drain sauerkraut leaving some liquid

Make like a lasagna

Put 1 layer of cubed rye in pan bottom, 1 layer of corned beef, 1 layer of sauerkraut, 1 smooth layer Russian dressing, 1 layer swiss cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. At the end cover with rye bread brush lightly with melted butter or lightly spray butter pam
Bake 20-30 min until top is golden brown

The quantities are a general amount you can vary according to your taste buds. You can use thousand Isl dressing instead of Russian. Cost is about $20-$30 for the large casserole dish mentioned but is it ever good.

Normally I do most of the cooking but I was busy wireing plugs and such so the lovely Mrs PNG said I'll make it so you can continue doing whatever it is you do. Thanks I say with a keen eye on the plate... She did a fantastic job:love:

I got home and told my wife about it and how I had to have it again. Thanks for the recipe! Looks like my wish will come true. It was really good if you were stuffing a pickle in your face on every other bite.
