I have a (hopefully) simple question:
What type of material are plugs make from?

Maple or Alaskin White / Yellow cedar

red cedar too, maple, mahogony some times, pine, basically any piece of wood that doesnt have a wicked rough grain i think.

While I will sound like a heretic...there are a few that are made out of molded plastic too (SuperStrike, etc). But I doubt that purists here would call them real plugs.

i tried trex once, it could have come out pretty well if i filled all the little pits in it.
