Looking for a decent conv reel with level wind. Will be used from the kayak only.

or looking for suggestions on a decent reel, like 100 bucks and under. any suggestions would be great.

To cast or troll?

basically troll around while im getting to spots.

I have an older Abu 7000 in near mint was advertised in classified section here $100 shipped.

Chris I think I might have a Penn Squidder I could give you that might need a tune up. Should do job when trolling.

If you want a inexpensive levelwind I'd look at a shimano TR.

I LOVE the Shimano TR200. $60 or so and I have caught hundreds of bass on it. Just a cheap workhorse!

have a Penn 345 with matching twin roller rod. decent shape, lead core line-$125.00 for the combo.
