Katie said I definitely qualify to go. Your boss is always in town, and she knows it PRBuzz 03-17-2010, 05:32 AM OK, I'm in! Don't get my boat for at least another 2 weeks...arrrrrgh. niko 03-17-2010, 06:22 AM sounds good gents. no reservations needed just be at the boat around 4/4:30. i'll get there early and save some good spots. just touch base w/ me if you are going and i'll save you a spot. Jim in CT 03-17-2010, 07:50 AM Niko, I was thinking of taking Friday off and doing the same thing... I've never been on a party boat, so let me ask a basic question for my benefit. What's a "good" spot on the deck? DZ 03-17-2010, 08:04 AM FYI - Have someone check the water clarity. This past storm really had the ocean riled up. I know this affects the cod bite off shore. Water is very dirty here in Newport but might be clean by Friday. DZ niko 03-17-2010, 12:55 PM jim - the bow and stern are the desirable spots. PRBuzz 03-17-2010, 03:04 PM Today's report (no luck o'the Irish): March 17th Capt Don at the helm today with a very small group of anglers. Still quite a bit of a ground swell today from the recent storm and the water was the color of coffee. Not a good day of fishing reports Capt. Don. The codfish just didn't bite, which is not unusual immediately after a big storm. Tomorrow is another day. Capt. Mike at the wheel tomorrow. niko 03-17-2010, 04:26 PM slight change in plans. we are going out on the island current. trip leaves at 3 am and tickets need to be purchased in advance. buzz - i can pick you up along the way if you're still up for it PRBuzz 03-17-2010, 04:32 PM slight change in plans. we are going out on the island current. trip leaves at 3 am and tickets need to be purchased in advance. buzz - i can pick you up along the way if you're still up for it Count me in. striperman36 03-17-2010, 05:38 PM freebie's boss, swmbo said nfw PRBuzz 03-17-2010, 08:16 PM Will this be the 1st test of the new saltwater permits vs RI license?
