View Full Version : Biopsy results-negative malignancy
Swimmer 03-28-2010, 10:42 AM A few weeks ago the wife again had to have a biopsy after having her annual mamogram because of a deep spot at the back of her breast up against the muscle tissue. She had a mastectomy 13 years ago on the other breast. But you never get used to this chit. The wife is a tough cookie though. She walks out of the office where she had the digital mamogram and said lets find out if that surgeon that took care of me before is still around (she liked him). She called his office and was told the wait would be three to four weeks for an appointment. She told the gal Dr. Davis took off her right breast 13 years ago, and she has to see him right away. Davis said come me this afternoon and he would read the xrays. The doctors then made an appointment at Goddard Surgi center in Brockton a few days later, and wife had another great surgeon do the biopsy. Wife was extremely impressed, and that is saying quite a bit when it comes to my wife's judgement of different things. She is a hemotologist in another hospital herself. The doctor said that they had a very difficult time locating the calcified deposit, but suctioned it all out. Then you get the, we will let know in 5-7 days, weekends not included.
Well, we got the news that there was absolutely no problem with the tissue taken during the biopsy, and spring is going to be extra special this year.

You have that right. Decompressing afterwards is almost the hardest part.
