UserRemoved1 04-16-2010, 11:39 AM BUMP JohnnyD 04-16-2010, 04:27 PM I have 10-20lbs of scrap lead hanging around somewhere. Is that too little to be worth it for you? When I scrap, I mean scrap. It came off a roof that was probably 50 years old. Swimmer 04-16-2010, 05:45 PM Salty I'LL check with my tire changing friends. UserRemoved1 04-16-2010, 05:54 PM No tire weights Swimmer I got loads already and haven't started that mess yet. That's going to be a few days this summer with the lead pot outside. Johnny for small stuff like that probably not worth it. The roof flashing I have gotten so far has alot of plastic cement on it which I think is going to make a real nasty mess when it gets melted. Not mine, it's all pretty clean aside from some oxidation, it's worked well for me when pouring jigs 3 and 4oz jigs. The nice part is that all the impurities float to the top and are easy to skim. I'll ask my roofer friend if he's got some bigger piles of it hanging around. Scrap prices are in the toilet so they don't care about giving it away.
