View Full Version : BigFish Bike Ready!
BigFish 04-16-2010, 08:26 AM Got my computer up and thought I would post a few pics of my canal bike! I think its ready for fish! My favorite part is the fish board! I figured with the wasted space between the baskets that it would be a great place to mount a board to carry fish as opposed to in the basket from one side to the other! So after noticing the size of my sons skateboard deck was just right and I liked the flared ends I went out and picked up a new deck at a bike/board shop for $20.00!:kewl:It more evenly distributes the weight, does not take up valuable gear space in the baskets and ct as a fender to keep the rain off my back on rainy days!
BigFish 04-16-2010, 08:30 AM Couple more....and 1 taken on my maiden voyage a week ago! Nice to have a Dunkies close by!:gu: Now I just need cup holder! Hope that last pic is not a "SPOT BURN"!
MarshCappa 04-16-2010, 08:38 AM I wish I saw you in that parking lot taking a picture of your bike! :rotf2: Geek! Keep in mind though this is coming from a jealous geek! Seriously though, NICE RIDE! :uhuh:

BigFish 04-16-2010, 09:57 AM Steel away Kevin! I attached it to the basket with neoprene clips I got at Lowe's. I will post a pic of them tonight! They work perfectly!
Frank....just a piece of pvc and a dowel!
BigBo 04-16-2010, 10:08 AM They let you through the drive-thru on that? :rotf2:
Don't leave it unattended in the parking lot loaded with gear. I speak from experience. :smash:

Skateboard is good for schoolies...try a snow board for trophy 50+lbers!
striprman 04-16-2010, 10:23 AM Larry,
That bike is set up quite nicely, but, If you intend to ride with waders (or baggy pants) that bar (as it is set on all mens bikes) might not let you swing your leg over too easily. Ladies bikes with the "low bar" eliminates that scenario.
Lookin' good though.:jump1:
bassballer 04-16-2010, 10:32 AM nice looking wheels!
macojoe 04-16-2010, 10:53 AM Larry,
