Dreaming of the day when I can go to the beach and catch stripers in the surf, like you do on the East Coast! :drool: For now I'll have to settle for chasing them at our local reservoirs.

Looks like there are some great fisherman and some good info to be had here. Hope I can contribute in some way in the future.

Inland Empire - Highland. Where do you fish?

We usually only fish when we're on the way to and from Catalina. We fish off the back of a sailboat.

I've been thinking about trying to do a bit of fishing up at lake arrowhead but i've never really gotten around to it.

I fished off chatham for most of my life so once you get that spoiled its hard to be motivated to try fishing around SoCal...
